WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL TO WORSHIP

HYMN:  O for A Thousand Tongues [Azmon]

PRAYER

INTROIT:  I Would Be True by Undine Smith Moore

I would be true, for there are those who trust me; I would be pure, for there are those who care; I would be strong, for there is much to suffer; I would be brave, for there is much to dare! I would be friend of all, the foe, the friendless; I would be giving, and forget the gift; O would be humble, for I know my weakness; I would look up and laugh and love and lift! [Howard A. Walter]

PRAYER

SCRIPTURE LESSON:  Acts 11:1-3, 13-26

HYMN:  The Church of Christ Cannot Be Bound [Mc Kee]

SERMON:  “Blessed to Be a Blessing” Dr. Colette Cozean, guest preaching

ANTHEM:  We Are Blessed  by Pete Carlson/arr. by Hal Wright

Blessing upon blessing he has showered on our lives.  Faithfully he’s given from the store of heaven.  So, we thank and praise him for the grace he’s shown to us; hope for our tomorrow, covered by his love.  We are blessed to know the great I Am.  We are blessed, and held by his Almighty hand.  We are blessed beyond all we could ever dream, every good and perfect thing, we are blessed.  He has poured his mercy on our tired and troubled souls, fed us living water as his sons and daughters.  There is no end to the treasures that he freely gives; always our Provider, gives us life to live.

PRAYER

HYMN: Go to the World! [Sine Nomine]
