PRELUDE: The Lord Is My Light (Psalm 27) by Frances Allitsen; Andria Cabrera, alto
The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom, then, shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom then, shall I be afraid? Though a host of men were laid against me, yet shall not my heart be afraid; and though there rose up war against me, yet will I put my trust in Him. For in the time of trouble, He shall hide me in His tabernacle. Yea, in the secret places of His dwelling shall He hide me, and set me up upon a rock of stone. [Psalm 27:1, 3-5]

INTROIT: The Lord Is My Light by Craig Courtney
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Of whom shall I be afraid? Though evildoers assail me, when adversaries attack me, they stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, though war break out against me, my heart will not fear. One thing I ask, one thing I seek of the Lord: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His dwelling; and He will set me high upon a rock. Then shall my head be exalted above my enemies round about me; I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord. [Psalm 27:1-6]

ANTHEM: The Lord Is My Light by John Ferguson
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom then shall I fear? When evildoers close in against me to devour my flesh, they, my foes, they, my enemies, will stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fear. Though war rise up against me, my trust will not be shaken. The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? One thing I ask of the Lord; one thing I seek: that I may dwell in God’s house all the days of my life; to gaze on the beauty of the Lord, to seek God in the temple. For in the day of trouble God will give me shelter. Hide me in the sanctuary, and raise me high upon a rock. [Psalm 27:1-5]
