CALL TO WORSHIP
HYMN: I Will Exalt My God, My King (Psalm 145) [Te Exaltaré, Mi Dios]
PRAYER
INTROIT: God Will Be Exalted by Ken Bible/arr. by Lura Foster
God will be exalted. While kings and kingdoms rise and fall, the Lord is sovereign over all. Our God will be exalted. Though mountains crumble to the sea, through time and all eternity our God will be exalted! Be still and know that he is God. His Word will stand forever. Come, see the wonders of his hand! He is God alone! When all the powers of darkness rise, look up! He splits the eastern skies! Our God will be exalted. Now make your hope a living flame. Arise, and lift his mighty name! Our God will be exalted!
PRAYER
SCRIPTURE LESSON: Exodus 24:1-11
ANTHEM: The God of Glory Thundereth by Alan Hovhaness; Mark Waters, tenor solo
The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King forever. The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace. O praise the Lord all ye nations: praise ye the Lord. [from Psalms 27 and 117]

Lord, transfigure our perception with the purest light that shines, and recast our life’s intentions to the shape of your designs, till we seek no other glory than what lies past Calvary’s hill and our living and our dying and our rising by your will.
